LENDING COLLECTOR LOSES P30T

A FEMALE lending collector reported to the police that she was robbed at gunpoint in barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, on Wednesday night.

Anabelle Catan-isan, 26, of Micro Financing Firm, said she was on her way to the market on board a tricycle when two armed men robbed her.

The woman said the two men blocked the tricycle in sitio Hangar, pointed a gun at her and held her up.

The woman said they took her bag containing P30,000 in collection money.

MAN ROBBED AT HOME

A WHEELCHAIR-BOUND man was robbed at home in barangay Umapad, Mandaue City.

Robert Commendador, 43, told police that he lost P20,000 to two armed men who barged into his house on Plaridel Street.

Commendador told police the intruders had handguns.

They took Commendador’s belt bag containing cash and fled. The belt bag was placed on the armrest of the wheelchair.
