MIAMI – Two people were killed and a third critically wounded when a firefight broke out at a Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Florida, the Orlando Sentinel reported Sunday.
Lieutenant Doug Seely, a spokesman for the police in the town of Winter Springs north of Orlando, told the Sentinel that a confrontation in the parking lot preceded the shooting.
It was not immediately clear how many shooters were involved. Several arrests were made and weapons were confiscated, Seely said.
But a shooter or shooters opened fire on a motorcycle club members as they gathered for a charity fundraiser, the paper reported.
Seely said the authorities suspect all three victims were members of the Warlocks motorcycle club.
