Senator Pimentel, early bird at the Comelec

MANILA, Philippines –Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III on Monday filed his certificate of  candidacy (CoC) at the office of the Commission  on Elections in Intramuros , Manila.

Pimentel, who is seeking for a second term in the Senate in the 2013 midterm elections, was the first candidate to file when the Comelec office opened at 8 am.

Pimentel is part of the administration’s ticket led by President Benigno Aquino III’s Liberal Party.
