4 men hurt in Toledo shooting

FOUR men were shot and wounded by an unidentified man while they were watching a disco in barangay General Climaco, Toledo City, southern Cebu.

Jonathan Abadinas, 31; his elder brother Diosdado, 49, a barangay tanod; Diosdado’s son Jonire, 22; and their cousin Revee Abadinas, 29, all Toledo City residents, are recuperating in the hospital.

Police identified the suspect as Jonic Secretaria of barangay Gaas, Balamban town, Cebu.

Police are still investigating the motive behind the attack.

Police investigation revealed that the victims were watching a disco in sitio Himatogan at 1 a.m. yesterday when Secretaria arrived and for no apparent reason fired shots at the victims.

Diosdado told the police that Secretaria fled along with an unidentified man believed to be his Diosdado said before Secretaria and his cohort fled, the assailant fired more shots at him and his companions but missed.
