Artist’s sketch of theft suspect out

POLICE released the facial composite of the man who was allegedly responsible for the series of theft cases in two establishments in barangay Banilad, Mandaue City.

Police came up with the artist’s sketch based on the description given by at least eight witnesses who tagged the man as the one behind the thefts in Kagura Spa and Cosco Gym, said Insp. Jimmy Fortes, chief of Casuntingan police station.

Police said the man was identified as a certain Michael who had been frequenting the two establishments located in Banilad.

One of the victims named Fin Chang Kng, a Korean national who lives in barangay Banilad, lost P40,000 cash and other valuables while he was at Cosco Gym.

Last Monday night, another Korean Park Hwy Chang, 55, reported to the police that he lost cash and valuables worth more than P2 million while having a spa in Kagura.
