Pink October Run set

THE ANNUAL Pink October Run of the Philippine College of Surgeons Cebu Chapter will return this Oct. 14 at The Terraces of the Ayala Center Cebu.

The running event held in line with the celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month will feature 3-kilometer, 5k and 10k distances. The organizers of the race changed the route to a two-loop run within the Cebu Business Park. This is to make the running event easier to participants.

“We hope to increase the awareness of the public with regards to the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and we believe that running is one of the best forms of promoting healthy lifestyle,” said PCS-Cebu president Dr. Stephen Bullo during yesterday’s official launching at the Casino Español.
