Korean loses cash, expensive watch in Mandaue spa

A KOREAN reported to the police that he lost cash and valuables worth more than P2 million in a spa in barangay Banilad, Mandaue City.

Park Hwy Chang, 55, said he lost his wallet containing P20,000, an iPhone worth P20,000 and a Frank Mueller watch worth P2 million.

The Korean, who temporarily lives in barangay Talamban, Cebu City, said he kept his belongings in a locker while he was enjoying a spa at Kagura Spa in A.S. Fortuna Street last Monday night.

The Korean reported to the receptionist when he discovered that his belongings were missing.

Jasmine Cosido, the manager of the establishment, called the police after learning about the theft.

Police said a certain Michael has been tagged as a suspect in the theft.

Chang told police he saw Michael in the locker room before his belongings were stolen.

Police said Michael was the same person who stole the belongings of another Korean national last Friday night.
