A DRUNK former town councilor is in trouble after he resisted arrest, punched a policeman, and was caught in possession of an unlicensed gun.

Artemio Luna, 50, a former Compostela town councilor, is detained at the Compostela police station and faces charges of illegal possession of firearms and direct assault at the Cebu Provincial Prosecutor’s Office. The charges were filed yesterday.

Investigation showed that Luna’s neighbors sought police assistance after a drunk Luna fired his .357 revolver outside his house in barangay Cogon, Compostela town last Sunday.
