All Nations Women’s Group turns 64

The All Nations Women’s Group (ANWG) is celebrating its 64th anniversary and induction of officers on July 26 at 6 p.m. at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City.

The keynote address will be delivered by Indonesian Ambassador Y. Kristiarto S. Legowo while Cambodian Ambassador Hos Sereythonh will induct the new officers. Cocoy Laurel will perform, according to Sandra Cox, event chair.

The new officers are Pearl K. Gonsalves, president; Sonia R. Mateo, vice president; Yolanda C. Aguilar, recording secretary; Ciely C. Perez, corresponding secretary; Remy P. Besinga, treasurer; Vilma Mulsid, assistant treasurer; Joy Sta. Teresa, PRO; Sandra Cox, Nora Eduardo, Lalie Tolentino and Sally Maliuanag, directors; and Dr. Leonida Bayani-Ortiz, ex-officio, immediate past president.

ANWG members come from various nations. They promote art appreciation and cultural exchanges among their respective countries. They also award college scholarships in Metro Manila.
