Red Lions eye win No. 13 vs Chiefs today

DEFENDING champions San Beda Red Lions will try to put distance from their closest pursuers, the San Sebastian Stags, as they face off against the Arellano University Chiefs in the 88th NCAA men’s basketball tournament today at the Arena in San Juan City.
The Red Lions lead the standings with a 12-2 (win-loss) record while the Stags hold an 11-4 mark. San Beda, which has won the championship for two years in a row now, aims to keep their mastery of the Chiefs which they beat, 81-71 in the first round.
In the second game, in spite of their doormat status, the Lyceum Pirates (3-11) hope to pull off another win as they take on the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals (5-9).
