Tigers, Archers try to firm up semis bids

2 p.m. – UE vs. UST

4 p.m. – La Salle vs. Adamson

THE University of Sto. Tomas Growling Tigers and the La Salle Green Archers try to solidify their bids for the Final Four as they end their elimination round campaigns today with games against teams in the bottom rung in the 75th UAAP men’s basketball tournament at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

FEATURED STORIES

UST will be taking on the University of the East Red Warriors at 2 p.m. while La Salle battles the Adamson Soaring Falcons in the main game at 4 p.m. UST is gunning to take the last twice-to-beat bonus which comes with being the second seed. They are currently tied for second place with the Far Eastern University Tamaraws with 9-4 (win-loss) records.

La Salle on the other hand, is trying to make its way back to the Final Four after missing it for several years in a row. They are tied with the National University Bulldogs for fourth with 8-5 cards. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
