Phil-Asia b’building top contenders arrive

THE top contenders of the prestigious Phil-Asia International Bodybuilding Championships slated this Friday and Saturday have started arriving yesterday.

The bodybuilding event which will be held at the Mariners Court is expecting around a hundred athletes coming from the country’s different regions and a lot more from other countries.

Yesterday, the Sukma twins, Imee and Susan of Malaysia arrived along with United Kingdom’s Paul Lancefield and New Zealand’s Janine Haywood and Ed Murray.

“Everything is ready for the event. A lot of the participants have already arrived and I am glad of their participation in this competition,” said Fitness Workout Cebu’s owner and event organizer Dennis Delgado.

For the first time, the German president of the National Bodybuilding Association-International Inc. (NBAII) Harold Hoyler will judge the competition along with Japan Bodybuilding Association (JBA) president Hiroyuki Kubayashi and New Zealand’s Jim Pitt. As of yesterday, 30 bodybuilders from Mindanao arrived here ith nine coming from Manila.
