Rain looms in Luzon as shallow low pressure area spotted off Quezon
MANILA, Philippines – A shallow low pressure area was monitored off Quezon Tuesday afternoon by the state weather bureau.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the SLPA was seen 230 kilometers east of Infanta.
Occasional light to moderate rains will be experienced in Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao except during thunderstorms. The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy skies with brief rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila will experience occasional light to moderate rains and thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Pagasa also terminated its thunderstorm advisory in parts of Metro Manila past 4 p.m.
