Rain in parts of PH while LPA dissipates in Batanes–Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Rains in parts of the country will continue even as a potential cyclone in Batanes dissipated, the state weather bureau said Tuesday

“Metro Manila will experience occasional light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. Moderate winds blowing from the west to southwest will prevail and Manila Bay will be moderate,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Moderate to string southwesterly winds will prevail over Southern Luzon and Visayas, which will bring the rains.

Occasional light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced in Central and Southern Luzon and Visayas.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy skies with brief rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the west to southwest with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa said.
