Novena for Peñafrancia starts today

Novena Masses for the Our Lady of Peñafrancia, patroness of Bicolandia, will begin today at 6:15 p.m. at the Capitol Parish Church on Escario Street, Cebu City.

The novena Masses will run for nine days until Sept. 22, to be followed with a fiesta Mass to be celebrated by Bicolano priests on next day, Sept. 23, at 5:30 p.m.

The fiesta Mass will begin with a procession at 4 p.m.

All the Novena masses will be held at 6:15 p.m., expect for Sept. 15, 16 and 22, which will be held at 5:30 p.m.

The Bicol Association of Cebu Inc. headed by its president, Fr. Jerome Cayetano, SVD, is organizing the fiesta activities.

All devotees to the Ina or the Our Lady of Peñafrancia are invited to attend the fiesta activities and Masses.
