Inna Puno speaks up for her besieged father

Inna Puno does her father, resigned Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Rico Puno, proud.

In her blog (https://theinnaexperience.blogspot.com), Inna accused an unnamed  “Mr. Man” and his relative who works in a “specific network” for causing troubles for her father, a firing-range buddy of President Benigno Aquino.

“Our family never once used this so-called ‘power’ or ‘unique relationship’ with the President to our advantage,” Inna Puno wrote in her blog, “AView from My Window.”

According to her, the Puno family had not changed residence, cars, crew or standard of living. “We live simply, and we will die simple. My father is not a politician and we are not a political family,” she wrote.

Slams TV network

Inna Puno said her father was in government because he believed in President Aquino’s “daang matuwid.”

She lambasted a TV network for reporting about the so-called “raid” on Robredo’s condominium with “just a photo of a logbook for evidence.”

“I don’t think reporters have the right to tell their opinion, especially on matters like that. They’re supposed to report FACTS. They’re supposed to REPORT. PERIOD,” she said.

She also said that the “raid” story was reported because one of the network’s staff was related to a certain personality, who was apparently one of her father’s detractors.

“Shame on you, and shame on the way you report and ruin people’s lives,” the Inna Puno said.

“But really, if you ask yourself, if you really REALLY think about it, WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE WHO KEEP TRYING TO PUT HIM DOWN?”

“You may look good,” she wrote, addressing “Mr Man.”

“You may have good intentions, but how dare you enter our home, eat our food and mingle with our family, only to what?”

Inna Puno thanked real friends and her father’s security group who stood by him.
