The late Cabinet member died in a plane crash in Masbate last August 18.
Leni Robredo was accompanied by her youngest daughter Jillian when she accepted the award from Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. The widow was greeted by lawmakers on the floor after the ceremony.
Authors of the resolution include Belmonte, Deputy Speaker Lorenzo Tañada III, Majority Leader Neptali Gonzales II, Minority Leader Danilo Suarez, Cavite Representative Joseph Emilio Abaya, and Batanes Representative Henedina Abad.
A similar award was previously given to boxing champion Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao.
