THE ANNUAL Talisay City Mayor’s Cup Basketball Inter-Barangay tournament starts its games today at the Talisay City Sports Complex.
The tournament’s opening ceremony was held last Sunday attended by more than a hundred players from the different barangays of Talisay City.
The tournament is scheduled to end on Oct. 5.
Present during the opening ceremony was Talisay City Mayor Socrates Fernandez, representative Eddie Gullas and Samsam Gullas.
The tournament will have competitions in the SK division, 25-years below and open division.
Lagtang and Poblacion will clash in the first game today of the SK division followed by Maghaway vs. Candulawan in the second game and San Roque vs. Poblacion./CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
