Obama supporters get together to listen to his acceptance speech

MANILA, Philippines—American Democrats living in the Philippines will gather at 4 p.m. Saturday to watch US President Barack Obama’s acceptance speech at the Democratic national convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

A recording of his acceptance speech will be played at Murphy’s Irish Pub at 105 V.A. Rufino St. cor. Esteban St., Legaspi Village, Makati City. The event will be sponsored by the Democrats Abroad Philippines.

American citizens living in the Philippines can register to vote in the November election by absentee ballot by going to www.VoteFromAbroad.org.
