Rain, thunderstorms in parts of PH–Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — The whole country will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over Southern Luzon, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.
The low pressure area monitored by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration was last seen 80 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon.
The rains could trigger flashfloods and landslides, it added.
Light to moderate winds blowjng from the northeast to northwest will prevail over Luzon and coming from the south to southwest over Visayas and Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout tne archipelago wilk be slight to moderate, Pagasa said.
Meanwhile, the yellow warning in Metro Manila issued by the state weather bureau early Wednesday was lifted at 7a.m. but the possibility of light to moderate rains over Metro Manila was still expected.
