2 more ‘salvage’ victims found in QC
MANILA, Philippines – The bodies of two more suspected victims of summary execution were found in Quezon City during the last two days, bringing to at least 11 the number of such killings in the city during the month of August alone, according to the police.
Case investigator Police Officer 2 George Caculba said the body of an unidentified man with ligature marks in the neck was found at around 5:40 a.m. in front of Geneva Garden on Commonwealth Avenue in Barangay (village) North Fairview.
The victim was described as between 40 and 45 years old, 4 feet and 10 inches talls of medium build and clad in a blue shirt and gray shorts.
The previous day, a man also apparently strangled was found at 5:30 a.m. in front of a house on Blumentritt Extension near Calamba Street in Barangay San Isidro Labrador.
This victim was between 30 and 40 years old, five feet tall, of slim build, and clad in a black shirt and blue shorts. The man sported several tattoos.
Caculba said the same group could be behind the death of the 11 apparent victims of summary execution in Quezon City this month. All victims remain unidentified.
