Roxas faces House body to defend DOTC’s budget

MANILA, Philippines—Transportation and Communications Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas on Thursday faced the House committee on appropriations to defend his agency’s P32.7 billion proposed budget for 2013.

The Department of Transportation and Communication’s proposed budget is five percent lower than last year’s outlay.
