LIMASAWA Customs Brokerage led by Limasawa Mayor Mel Petracorta routed undermanned Kentkyle Cuisine, 94-74, while the Israel Alin-led Alin Customs Brokerage barged into the win column after nipping Avenido Brokers, 72-69, last Saturday in the ongoing Customs – 3rd Major Alfonso Abbariao Cup-2012 basketball tournament at the Basak San Nicolas gym.
Limasawa Brokers dominated the entire 40-minute skirmish and posted its biggest lead of 29 points, 80-51 going to the final canto.
Mayor Petracorta led Limasawa Brokers with 19 points spiked by five triples while Taks Moral and Francis Palero added 18 points apiece. The win elevated Limasawa’s record to 3-1 card while Kentkyle dropped to 2-2.
Kenneth Maningo pced Kentkyle with 20 points while Dong Miscala and Ramil Aninion added 18 and 15 points, respectively.
Meanwhile, Alin Customs Brokerage fought a close match against Avenido Brokers.
With the last deadlock pegged at 61-all with three minutes remaining, Bryan Barral and Ryan Villomo rescued Alin Brokers by delivering crucial baskets.
Alin Brokers improved to 1-3 the same record as Avenido Brokers.
Ryan Villomo and skipper Israel Alin powered Alin Brokers with 24 and 13 points, respectively, while Bryan Barral added 10 markers. Giovani Mondin and Erlito Avenido paced Avenido Brokers with 17 and 13 points, respectively.
