Body found inside sack
THE body of a man was found stuffed inside a sack in a grassy area not far from his house in barangay Tag-ubi, Compostela town, northern Cebu.
Police are investigating the death of 32-year-oldNathaniel Batucan Lato. His body was riddled with bullets and his neck was slashed.
A neighbor last saw Lato having dinner in his house on Sunday night.

Lato’s body was found dumped in a hole about 150 meters from his house past 7 a.m. on Monday.
Four slugs believed to come from a .38 revolver were recovered in the house, said police./PIT INTERN JESSA P. OMEGA
