A 19-YEAR-OLD habal-habal driver was wounded after a gun allegedly tucked in his waist accidentally went off in barangay Manlayag, Danao City, northern Cebu.
Police said Darryl Mojado Oliverio,19, a resident of Baliang Danao, was transporting a passenger when the purported accidental shooting occurred last Saturday night.
Oliverio was brought to the Danao Provincial Hospital. He was later moved to a a hospital in Cebu City.

MAN STABBED IN DISCO
A 19-YEAR-OLD boy stabbed and wounded his neighbor during a disco in barangay Guadalupe, Alegria town, southern Cebu.
Alvin Quintiro surrendered to the police after stabbing 37-year-old Antonio Legari in the chest past 6 p.m. last Saturday.
Police said Quintiro used an icepick in the attack.
Police said Legari was watching a disco which was part of the fiesta celebration of sitio Tigib when Quintiro arrived and without a word stabbed him.
Legari was taken to the Reinhard Wertgin Memorial Hospital before he was transferred to a hospital in Cebu City.
Quintiro fled after the attack before he turned himself over to the Alegria police./PIT INTERN RYAN N. WENCESLAO
