Titans, Vipers advance

CONFERENCE top seeds Teletech Titans and Aegis Vipers advanced to the next round after they beat their lower-ranked quarterfinal foes last Saturday in the 2012 Sun Cellular E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.

The Titans, the number one seed in the southern conference, nipped the SupportSAVE Jaguars (8th), 69-66, while the northern conference top team Vipers dumped the Calltek Trojans (8th), 86-63.

Also clinching a semifinal spot in the southern conference are the Sykes Pioneers (2nd), who trashed the Teleperformance Lions, 67-48.

The winning teams enjoyed twice-to-beat edges over the losing squads.

Sherwin Emmanuelle Resilla and Lourenz Limpangog powered the Titans with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
