2 MEN NABBED FOR DRUGS
TWO men were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in barangay Cabancalan, Mandaue City on Thursday night.
Jaime Alvarina, 45, and Rodel Ceniza allegedly sold a pack of suspected shabu worth P200 to a poseur buyer before they were arrested by members of the City Intelligence Branch in sitio Pilit last Thursday night.
Police said it was Alvarina who handed the drugs to the buyer. Ceniza ran away upon seeing that Alvarina was arrested.
During the chase, Ceniza threw a blue plastic container which was later found to contain five small packs packs of suspected shabu and two pieces of aluminum foil./CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
MAN FOUND DEAD
THE body of an unidentified man was found riddled with bullets in barangay Biasong, Talisay City, southern Cebu.
Police said the man, estimated to be in his 30s, wore a blue t-shirt and denim pants.
SPO1 Mikie Espina, investigator of the Talisay City police, said it was possible that the man was killed somewere else and his body left in Talisay.
