Two running events to be held today
THE 1ST TIMEX Run and the 7th University Run will kick off today in separate venues.
The Timex Run will take off from Osmeña Boulevard in Cebu City while thet University Run of the Run for Sight Foundation will start at the Cebu Doctors’ University campus at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City.
The Timex Run is organized by Timex watches and handled by renowned race director Rio Dela Cruz and event organizer Ricky Ballesteros. It will have 16-kilometer, 10k and 5k categories. The next leg of the series will be held in Davao on Aug. 26.
The University Run, meanwhile, will feature 25k, 13k, 6k and 3k categories./CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
