MANILA, Philippines—Rolito Go was kidnapped by at least four suspects pretending to be National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents late Tuesday afternoon and was kept in a safe house in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

During a press conference with the media Thursday, Go said he was forcibly taken as he was making his way back to the minimum security prison of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) late Tuesday afternoon.

Director General Nicanor Bartolome, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, said that the computerized cartographic sketch of the suspects was already being processed.

Go said that they were released late Wednesday night by the suspects. He and his nephew then managed to contact police to tell them that they will be riding a bus that will pass by Alabang.

Police and relatives of Go then met the two at a bus stop in Alabang and they were afterwards taken into the Anti-Kidnapping Group headquarters in Camp Crame.
