Man hangs self under Manila bridge
MANILA, Philippines—A man believed to have committed suicide by hanging himself was found in Manila early Thursday, police said.
Senior Police Officer 2 Domingo Ligutan of Manila Police District station 8 said the still-unidentified man, believed to be around 30 to 35 years old, was found hanging under the bridge along Arlegui Street, San Miguel, Manila around 8:30 a.m.
Ligutan said the victim, who hanged himself with a GI wire, stood around 5’7″ clad in a green T-shirt and jeans.
The victim was found by construction worker Socorro Limpin when he passed by the area this morning, Ligutan said, but added that residents in the area didn’t recognize the victim.
Further investigation was still being conducted, Ligutan said.
