Construction worker shot dead in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines – A construction worker was gunned down before midnight Saturday while he was riding home on his motorcycle in Quezon City.

Marlon Ramirez, 35, of Senading Street, Barangay Gulod in Novaliches, died instantly from multiple bullet wounds in the body..

Police Officer 1 Ramon Niño II of the Quezon City Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU) said the incident happened at around 11:30 pm along Interior Masaya, Barangay Gulod in Novaliches while Ramirez was on his black Honda motorcycle (3770-UR).

Niño said a man appeared just as Ramirez passed by and started shooting at the construction worker. The still unidentified shooter immediately fled after the attack
