Bostolits grabs lead

/ 08:53 AM August 07, 2012

GRACE Bostolits posted its sixth win in seven games, beating Quiot-San Roque, 120-117, last Sunday to grab the solo lead in the Upper Bayanihan Catholic Association (UBCA) Camp-2012 basketball tournament at the barangay Quiot Sports Complex.

Bostolits led in the first three periods including a 20-point advantage, 75-55 at the half but saw this lead dwindle dramatically in the fourth when Quiot unloaded a, 34-21, run. Quiot however, failed to snatch the win as Bostolits had already piled enough points.

Toly Petiluna had 32 points spiked by 10 trifectas for Grace Bostolits while Ronnie Ruiz paced Quiot-San Roque with 34 markers.
