Forced evacuation enforced along swollen Marikina River

MANILA, Philippines—Forced evacuation of residents along the swollen Marikina River has been enforced, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said Tuesday.

The MMDA in a tweet said that the river rose to 17 meters as of 1 a.m., prompting authorities to raise the alert level to third.
