2nd leg of Future’s Tennis Program opens Saturday

INTERESTED tennisters are urged to join the 2nd leg of the Future’s Tennis Program which will be held in two weekends starting this Saturday at the tennis courts of the Cebu Country Club.

Coach Fritz Tabura said the 2nd leg will be held in two weekends because of the increased number of entries that they have gathered for the event.

1st leg champions Francis Gener Lambayan in the boys 12 and Jana Pages in the girls 14 will be back to defend their titles.

Tabura said that since this is a monthly event, the previous leg winners will be made the top seeds in the next leg. The coach added that the 2nd leg have attracted netters from Bantayan Island.

A doubles event might also be held in the 2nd leg, said Tabura.
