Girl found hanging dead
A 13-YEAR-OLD girl was found hanging dead at home in barangay Inuburan, Naga City, southern Cebu.
Family problems may have driven her to commit suicide, said police.
The girl was found suspended from the ceiling of her room by her grandmother last July 15, said police.
Police said the grandmother surmised that the girl decided to kill herself after she was raped by her father.
PO1 Nilo Daclis, investigator of Naga City police, said they were waiting for the result of the autopsy to confirm reports that the girl was pregnant.
A message was found saved in the girl’s cellular phone where she expressed her disappointment over her family and said she wanted to die, said Daclis./CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
