SHAABAA starts

THE SACRED Heart-Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) will unveil its 17th season today with five games at the SHS-Ateneo de Cebu campus in Canduman, Mandaue City.

Twelve teams will be competing in this tournament with Dynamic Power, the reigning champions, aiming to keep its title. They will be taking on Insular Square in one of the five matches slated after the grand opening ceremonies which starts at 1 p.m.

The other games pit Gaisano Capital vs. Fiesta Cebuana, Twin Tower Gold vs. last year’s losing finalists Goldberry Suites, RDAK vs. Twin Tower Farms Blue and A-Team vs. Cebu Landmasters. The other two teams are JAPFA and Fiesta Cebuana Caters./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
