The Cebu Energy Development Corp. and Toledo Power company, a subsidiary of Global Business Power Corp., supported the grand outreach program of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) last June 25 at the Cebu Technological University Main campus on M.J. Cuenco Avenue, Cebu City.

The two power-generating plants donated medicines for the program’s medical mission and sent 21 volunteers to assist the medical team and the patients.

Dubbed “Chamber Gives Back,” the activity was in celebration of the Cebu Business Month.

The CCCI reported that more than 8,000 people from the barangays in Cebu City benefited from the program, a breakthrough for CCCI and its partner, ABS-CBN’s Halad sa Kapamilya.

With its commitment to provide electric power to the Cebuanos, the two power generating plants in Toledo City, Cebu are fueled by its sense of corporate social responsibility expressed through community service.
