Ambassador Melchor remembered in FEU Friday

The Alejandro Melchor Jr. Foundation in collaboration with Far Eastern University will hold “Pathways to Leadership: Young Leaders Conference” on Friday to mark Melchor’s 10th death anniversary, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at FEU-IAS conference center. A commemorative Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Raul Martirez, DD, at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon with Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson as guest speaker. Melchor Jr. served in government for more than 50 years under nine presidents as a Navy officer, acting secretary of defense, executive secretary, and ambassador to Russia.
