Jesuit Retreat House sets prayer exercises

THE Jesuit Retreat House in Banawa Hills, Cebu City will hold a series of prayer exercises to guide participants on the nature of Christian prayer, its basic elements and dynamics, as well as some styles and methods of prayer.

Jesuit priests will share their own experiences in prayer.

At the end of the recollection, participants will be able to address common prayer concerns such as handling silence, dealing with distractions and the onset of “dryness” in prayer, the use of sacred scriptures, dealing with the language and movement of God and uncovering one’s resistance in prayer.
