USJ-R Scrabble Open kicks off
THE University of San Jose Recoletos (USJ-R) Scrabble Open 2012 will start today with Cebu’s best word wizards clashing for supremacy at the auditorium of the USJR Basak Campus.
The tournament was supposed to start on June 30 but was moved due to some concerns.
Among the noted players in the tournament include former national players Avelino Guatno and Jose Toroy.
Former Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) top players Dexter Dungog and ‘King of Engineers’ Jenry Oñate will also compete while Natalie Cabaluna and Olgie Alba represent USJ-R. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
