Liloan batters to face Pusok

LILOAN batters go for their third straight win when they take on Pusok Lapu-Lapu this Sunday in the 5th Mayor Leonil Bacaltos Softball Cup at the Sibonga open grounds.

Liloan currently has two victories without a defeat while Pusok Lapu-Lapu has a 1-1 (win-loss) record.

Baraca-Carcar, meanwhile, will play its first game of the tournament against Sibonga.

Sibonga will face Guimbangkoan in the first match while Baraca will play against Boysnet in the second match of the day. Both teams will play twice this Sunday.

The tournament is organized by Sibonga councilor Mariano Laude and is held inline with the fiesta celebration of the Municipality of Sibonga next month.

The champion will take home P10,000 while P8,000 goes to the second placers. The third placers will win P6,000 while P4,000 will be won by the fourth placers. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
