Bostolits grabs lead in UBCA basketball

GRACE Bostolits drubbed the heftier YATI, 99-87, last Sunday for its 2nd straight win in the Upper Bayanihan Catholic Association (UBCA) Basketball Camp Association basketball tournament at the Quiot Sports Complex.

Bostolits led from start to finish with Toly Petiluna pushing the team to the top in the first quarter by scoring 12 points in  said period all from beyond the arc.

Petiluna paced Grace Bostolits with 22 points spiked by six trifectas while Jeff Francisco and Sek Regis added 12 points apiece. Joel Ramirez and Danry Baclay paced Yati with 22 points each.

Earlier, Punta tripped winless OYAB, 93-87, with Roy Sanico and Albert Navaja scoring 21 and 20 points, respectively.

Meanwhile, in the other games of the quadruple card, the Mayupay Team of Dave Dela Cruz nipped Dorothy Grace, 85-83, while Suran routed San Roque, 107-88.
