RAFI builds adventure center

THE Philippines’ first outdoor experiential education center in barangay Cansomoroy, Balamban town, southwest Cebu is expected to open in 2013.

The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. Kool Adventure Camp (RAFI-KAC) is building the center to continue changing the lives of young adults.

As of January 2012, the center was 70 percent complete.

“Kool Adventure Camp is a serious attempt to build leadership attributes in the Filipino youth,” said RAFI president Roberto Aboitiz. “While the events are fun in themselves, RAFI-KAC is a serious business, promoting self-confidence, trust, optimism, positive attitude, courage and the assumption of one’s responsibility for their future.
