Trisikad driver robbed, wounded

TWO men robbed and stabbed a 19-year-old trisikad driver in barangay Babag, Lapu-Lapu City last Sunday night.

Wilbert Bayotlang of barangay Ibabao, Cordova town was brought to the hospital after he suffered stab wounds in his arms.

He told police that he lost his P200 earnings to the robbers.

Dispatcher shot dead

A 53-YEAR-old dispatcher was shot dead by a colleague in sitio Awayan, barangay Poblacion 3, Carcar City last Sunday afternoon.

Elias Alimasag, died after he was shot in the back during a drinking spree with friends.

Investigation showed that Alimasag was with another group while the suspect Jessie Aldaya, 32, was also with another group drinking in the same area. Aldaya, who was drunk, suddenly pulled out a .45 pistol and shot the victim.

Police arrested Aldaya yesterday in his house. Witnesses identified him as the shooter. /Correspondent Gabriel C. Bonjoc

Two wounded in shooting

TWO brothers were wounded after two men they met on the street shot them.

Amigably brothers, Salvador, 34, and Ronilo, 24, were wounded in the body and arm after two assailants, Simon Pat from Lapu-Lapu City and a certain Christian of barangay Hipodromo, Cebu City shot them in barangay Mabolo, Cebu City.
