3 boys nabbed for burglary
Three boys and a 20-year-old man were arrested in connection with the burglary of a merchandising shop in barangay Alang-Alang, Mandaue City.
The boys, aged 13, 14 and 15, and Janjed Bayking, 20, were caught by a security camera breaking into the establishment owned by Elias Soon at dawn of Wednesday.
Stolen items such as a laptop computer and assorted t-shirts were recovered from the three boys and Bayking.
The underage boys were later turned over to social workers.
SPO1 Edmundo Bilocura of the Centro police station said the burglars entered the store through the main door which was left unlocked.
They weren’t aware that their movements were recorded by a security camera installed at Prestige Building across Soon’s store, said police. CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
