Ross Luga, DLPC corporate communications officer, said technical problems at the NGCP briefly affected the sub-transmission substation serving Panacan to Puan areas, affecting about 189,000 residents.
“We are sorry for the inconvenience,” Luga said.
“Our sub-transmission substation is down affecting areas from Panacan to Puan because of technical problem at the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines at the Davao area control center,” Luga added.
He said gradual restoration started 30 minutes from the power outage, which occurred at around 11 a.m.
