A 21-YEAR-OLD mother yesterday sought police assistance saying  two women abducted her one-year-old baby in a downtown mall in Cebu City.

Diane Simbajon of  Ginatilan town, Cebu, told police that she had left her baby with her sister, Gina Pareja, 29, at the 3rd floor of the mall shortly before noon yesterday to buy food.

But while, Pareja was waiting for her, Simbajon said two women approached Pareja and asked  to hold the baby while she would go fetch Diane.
