Park, Delos Reyes win in AMO Cup

DAVID PARK and Elro delos Reyes were the big winners in last weekend’s 5th AMO Cup – the Albino D. Gothong Memorial Golf Tournament held at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club.

Park was the overall gross champion with his 70 points while Delos Reyes bagged the overall net crown with his net score of 62 .

The class A title lowest gross went to Masahisa Kawakami, who scored 37 on the front nine  and 38 on the back nine to gross 75. Lowest net went to Leo Saberon with his 66 points.

Lowest gross title in class B went to Yasuyuki Kanai with 79 points, while Cristino Lim who netted 67 was given the lowest net honors.

FEATURED STORIES

Class C had Ed Eroy going home with the lowest gross title with his 84 points while Jephte Romea was named as having the lowest net with 64 points.

Vicente Go wrested the lowest gross title in the seniors division from Bobby Barria via a countback. Barria, though, had the lowest net title.

The super seniors lowest gross title went to Ed Franco while the lowest net went to Felipe Ventulan.

The ladies had Ericka Lim going home with lowest gross while Mayet Alba pocketed the lowest net title.

The guest division saw Ariel Mangana being named as having the lowest gross. Lowest net went to Junrey Pelayo.

Alberto also had the nearest to the pin at hole no.6, while Mario King had the most accurate drive at hole no.11. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
