Guns seized in raid

AN INGRAM machine pistol and a 9mm pistol  were seized from a house in a police raid in barangay Liburon, San Fernado town, southern Cebu.

The firearms were found at the house of 34-year-old Jimmy Sigesmar, 34, who was not around    when operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas conducted the raid around 7 a.m. last Friday.

A search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court RTC) Judge Soliver Peras was used in the raid.

Police said the raid was made due to reports that Segimar was seen brandishing firearms outside his house./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
