2 injured in shooting incident at Robinson Metro East

MANILA, Philippines—At least two security guards were injured from a shooting incident at the basement of Robinsons Metro East a little past 11am Friday.

Sources at the mall said there was an attempt to rob an armored van supposed to pick up money from a bank located at the basement of the mall.

Customers inside the mall went scampering for safety while most shops shut down.

Glass door from the basement leading to the parking areas was shattered and there were blood stains on the floor. Several slugs of bullet were also scattered at the basement.
